A SPECIAL LIFE HAS PASSED FROM OUR SIGHT
BUT NEVER FROM OUR HEARTS

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the
life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead,
yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth
in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
John 11: 25-26

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

6) He came to Simon Peter; and Peter said to him, "Lord, do you wash my feet?" 7) Jesus answered him, "What I am doing you do not know now, but afterward you will understand." 8) Peter said to him, "You shall never wash my feet." Jesus answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no part in me." 9) Simon Peter said to him, "Lord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!" 10) Jesus said to him, "He who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet, but he is clean all over; and you are clean, but not every one of you." 11) For he knew who was to betray him; that was why he said, "You are not all clean." 12) When he had washed their feet, and taken his garments, and resumed his place, he said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you? 13) You call me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for so I am. 14) If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 15) For I have given you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you. 16) Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. 17) If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them. 18) I am not speaking of you all; I know whom I have chosen; it is that the scripture may be fulfilled, `He who ate my bread has lifted his heel against me.' 19) I tell you this now, before it takes place, that when it does take place you may believe that I am he. 20) Truly, truly, I say to you, he who receives any one whom I send receives me; and he who receives me receives him who sent me."

-- John 13:6-20

WEEKLY SCRIPTURE

1) The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2) He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3) He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4) Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5) Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
